Prescriptions
Prescriptions:
Repeat prescription requests received by 10.30am will be available for collection from 8.30am the next morning (Mon-Fri). Requests received by 10.30am Friday will be available from 8.30am Monday.
Requests for 'emergency' prescriptions may be met the same day, but will incur a further charge in accordance with diverting veterinarians from other duties.
Prescription Check Ups:
We need to see your pet regularly to be able to continue prescribing medications to meet legislation requirements and for them to be considered under our 'care'. It also gives us the opportunity to examine your pet, monitor for changes in your pets condition, alter medication or doses where necessary, in order to give your pet the best service and treatment it deserves. The interval will differ depending upon the condition and type of treatment. For example some pets with heart problems (cardiac cases) may need to be examined every month, other animals that may be on long term pain relief medication for e.g. arthritis problems may only need to be seen once every 4-6 months.
